West Coast Post-Trauma Retreat Center

The WCPR program is for first responders whose lives have been impacted by their work experience. WCPR is one of only two residential treatment facilities of its kind in the world. The other program is the On-Site Academy in Massachusetts, with which WCPR is affiliated. The WCPR residential program provides an educational experience designed to help current and retired first responders, recognize the signs and symptoms of work-related stress including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in themselves and in others.
The Badge of Life
The Badge of Life mission is to increase awareness of police suicide and mental health issues by providing free educational materials, videos and programs to enhance the emotional well-being of police officers in the United States and Canada. We have active programs to protect and assist surviving spouses and children of law enforcement suicide, as well as honor all officers who have given their lives in the line of duty. Further, BOL honors and supports the forgotten police retirees who carry the burden of emotional scars of their careers.
